ÅF is a leading engineering and consultancy company voted the second most popular employer among Swedish engineers. In early 2016 Grow was asked to support the process of recruiting 200 consultants to division Technology. But how do you attract and retain the best talents in competition with Google, Spotify and other technology consultants?
Knowing that reaching out to generation Y is no easy task, our aim was to catch the attention of ambitious engineering graduates with a few years of work experience. A key insight was that these talents, born in the 1980s or early 1990s, tend to be individualists, striving to realize themselves, trying new things, being inspired and challenged.
Are you future connected?
To start a long-term recruiting approach, we developed this challenging concept and call out, dramatized through a digital communications hub. Convinced that personal encounters createimpact we packed it with films, starring ÅF employees talking about their jobs and what it’s like working at ÅF. The communications digital hub was activated using LinkedIn, supported by YouTube and ÅF employees sharing the message in their own networks.
